Sweet wins the Badger 40 at Wilmot Raceway
California native Brad Sweet claimed the final victory in the 40-lap Badger 40 to highlight the action on Saturday night at Wilmot Raceway.
Sweet is the reigning two-time World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Series champion. He beat poleman Logan Schuchart, who was second, and Donny Schatz, who was third.
Mark Heinert of Oak Creek won the 20-lap Lightning Sprints IRA, his second win of the season at Wilmot. Heinert edged out CJ Malueg of Johnsburg, Ill., For second place. Mike Neau of Pleasant Prairie was fourth.
Circuit action resumes on Saturday, with drivers set to compete in four divisions. Grandstands open at 5 p.m., on-track entertainment at 5.45 p.m. and race at 6.30 p.m. Admission is $ 15 for fans 12 and over and free for 11 and under.

Junior tennis tournament from July 29 to 30 in Bullen
The Kenosha Unified School District Recreation Department Junior Tennis Tournament will be held July 29-30 at Bullen Middle School.
Champions will be crowned in five single divisions – 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 and under – and four double divisions – 12, 14, 16 and 18 and under – for boys and girls. The first and second place trophies will be awarded in all divisions, with ribbons for third and fourth places.
