The HMI’s projected capacitive touchscreen (PCAP) technology saves space, improves performance, resists wear and provides long life. PCAP glass requires fewer layers than traditional analog resistive plastic films, and the self-capacitance technology can also prevent accidental ingress due to water droplets. It is also more scratch resistant, does not yellow in the sun and has a higher tolerance to dirt deposits and contact with cleaning or washing chemicals.
